Getting There

We’re getting closer.

The remainder of the weekend we should have the rest of the rafters placed and get a good start at running the purlines.  The lumber is starting to get thin.  We’ve tried to pick the best as we’ve progressed through.  Now we are starting to pick through the cullings from our first go around.  Thankfully we haven’t had too many problems with making the imperfect work perfectly well.  More often than not structure has been true and tight like socks on a rooster.

So are you going to have a barn warming party when this thing is completed? I'm old enough to have attended a few of those before they went out of style.
