Porch Update

Ed…it was a good guess but not the right one for today. My sister had given us this piece of stained glass several months ago. We weren’t sure exactly where it would end up.

I think it has found its home.

That is gorgeous. My aunt does some awesome stained glass work. I have never seen anyone use such a big piece and have it displayed outside. Very cool. I think it found a good home!

Thanks Robin..We are so thankful that my sister gave us this. It had been in a bathroom window in her home and they put in casement windows. Lucky us!

beautiful, I like how the stained glass can fold up for stormy weather. excellent idea!are you going to rock the inside too?

Karl…Good to hear from you! Hope all is going better for you now. Yes, we are going to rock the inside too. I thought that as large as the panel is it would be better to give to the wind than stand up to it. We think we will put a sheet of plexi-glass on the outside.

The porch is looking great. And what a beautiful stained glass piece! I would love to have something like that for our home. You've chosen a good place to showcase it.
