The tree is lit. The stockings are hung. There is a ever present air of anticipation from everyone in the house that soon there will be a silent visitor.

Some are more eager just to get into the house. Even they know something is up.

Or it could just be a familiar odor that has them glued to the glass.

Theresa is making her challah, a braided egg bread that is so damned good.

Katy did a Florida inspired painting for her Aunt Lynda. We celebrated an early Christmas with our kin from the city last Sunday.

Captain Farfel kept a close eye on the unwrapping. He’s a pro at tearing the hell out of wrapping paper.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. May all the blessings of God reach those in need. We are truly grateful for the great gifts that have been bestowed upon us. May peace and joy fill your hearts this eve of Christmas.
