Ice and snow

We had a spit of ice last week. I was hoping that it wouldn’t be a repeat of last years smack down we endured. This morning we awoke to a light coat of snow mixed with some freezing rain. It was fun this morning letting our new addition out for her first look at the white stuff.

Last week a puppy showed up at the house. She was either dumped or came through with a pack. Anyway she decided this place was comfortable enough for her so she stayed. Katy decided that she looked like a daisy so that’s the name of record.

She appears to be a mixed breed. A touch of “I don’t know” and “we’ll see” mixed with a little of “could be”. I’ll get a picture or two posted when I can.

Now for the old folks update on the state of my pelvic ring injury.

Still sore as hell.

If I don’t talk to ya’ll between now and then have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
May all of you have a piece of peace that will carry you through and enough left over to pass it on.
