Milling

A few weeks back we took a two day drive around the south central area of Missouri. We hadn’t planned on this being a tour of the mills but that is what it turned into. Most of the pictures are from Dillard Mill. The closest of the two that we visited. The other being Alley Springs Mill. The picture of the sluice gate is from Alley Springs.

The good looking gal in the fork of the cottonwood tree is luckily my wife Theresa. We sure did have a great time just poking around Eminence and Mountain View. It is nice to have no plans, just land where you land and have fun doing it.

This trip was a week before I fell from Tater and busted up my pelvis.

I’ve never been to Dillard Mill, Alley Spring is really nice, its run by the National Park Service, which I think is so cool. You should check out the mills down in Ozark County, there are like 5 of them.
