Fair part II

Katy did a fantastic job of singing the National Anthem at the county fair. She made it through without singing “Jose can you see” which seemed to be her preferred lyrical rendition.

The kid sure likes to sing and is not shy of the stage. One of the cool thing for me is that she still likes a lot of the same songs as her Dad.

She is really fond of singing at church where she has done a couple of Rhonda Vincent songs and The Lords Prayer. Fishers of Men is my favorite song that she has done in church.

She had a hard time showing her chicken. She was really upset because a panel dividing her hogs pen from three others was knocked over and the boys look like they had a little bit of a tiff. Her hog “Rocket” had a couple of scratches on him (the pen looked more tore up than any of the hogs did).

She thought he was really hurt due to some of the blood and mess on the walls.

She pulled herself together and did the best she could.

I think she did a great job.

It was all smiles at the end.

Well done Katy! We have trouble with our national anthem as well. They lyrics are Australians all let us rejoice for we are young and free. Quite often you hear younger kids sing Australians all love Ostriches for they are good for tea!
